NDVI reads the upper spectrums of infrared frequencies produced from photosynthesis to identify plant chlorophyll. Plants absorb red, green and blue spectrums, to convert into food. Infrared is the spectrum that is left over. NDVI specific camera sensors, combined with GPS and algorithms, accurately scan and measure a plant's health, then converts it into easy to read health maps.
